A little bit more information to help you get the best from our lovely colours.

Please be aware that whilst the colours are from plants, our inks have been formulated to give the best performance when printed on fabrics and contain preservatives for shelf life. It is advisable to treat the inks with care, they are for professional use and not to be used in a domestic setting.

  • please don’t ingest

  • not for children’s use

  • always wash hands after use

  • if any irritation occurs please wash hands and seek advice.

  • please store at cool temperatures and out of sunlight to protect the shelf life.

  • heat setting is essential for a colourfast finish (please note Tickencote pink is made from Cochineal and even after heat setting it can bleed if left wet for a prolonged time, so it is advisable to wash and dry immediately).

  • cool temperatures and a detergent without optical whiteners, (I recommend Ecover) should be used when washing the fabrics after printing and heat setting.

  • the colours are not all fully light fast and it is advisable to keep all of the printed products protected from strong light, to maintain their quality.
