Make a sophisticated Vienna lampshade for your home or as a Christmas Gift, with Alex Kathryn Interiors. To make this shade you can choose one of   Madder Cutch & Co.’s handprinted fabrics, lovely fringes and trims to make a top quality 12/ 14” curvy lampshade using traditional handsewn techniques over the course of 2 days.

You will learn how to bind your lampshade frame, template and attach your fabric and lampshade lining before finishing in fancy fringes and trims.

Alex has trained with and worked for a high-end soft furnishings workshop in the Cotswolds for several years and has now set up her own business making soft furnishings and lampshades for Interior Designers and Private clients. She has previously run teaching courses at Highgrove, Tetbury for The King’s Trust (formerly The Prince’s Trust).

All materials and a warm lunch and refreshments are all included.
